A space for more of ourselves, not less
Nervous system ‘regulation’ has become another way of keeping us — neurodivergent, sensitive, queer, disabled, women and gender expansive, marginalised folk — small. Quiet. Palatable. Compliant.
This is absolutely not a space to ‘calm down’ in.
It’s a collective space for us to join together and bring more of ourselves, not less — in whatever way that feels good. Loud maybe, or sometimes quiet. Laughter sometimes, but also tears. To reclaim our bodies, our voices, our identities. To be in community.
Not in pursuit of a calmer, quieter or more agreeable version of ourselves. But to feel alive, connected, with space for all of it — the rage, the anger, the joy, the sadness, the grief, the fear, the hope and the love.
To hold it all with an open heart.
A fierce heart.
Because that’s what the world needs right now…
not less of us, but more of us.
