SOMATICS & SOUND

The Cross Barn, Odiham

An immersive collaboration between Courtney Freedman-Thompson of Chameleon Coaching and Claire Beasley of Claire Beasley Sound Meditation.

A space to move, to rest, to feel.

Movement and sound are primal. Before words, before performance, before productivity… We moved. We listened. We felt rhythm and vibration in our bodies.

This afternoon at the historic Cross Barn is an invitation back to that.

A gently guided journey blending:

  • Somatic movement and embodied exploration

  • Grounding practices to support safety and presence

  • A deeply restorative sound bath

  • Guided meditation

  • Somatic journaling and reflection

  • Herbal tea, snacks and space for integration

  • Closing circle

This is not about doing or getting it ‘right’. It is about being in the moment and listening to your own body. Reconnecting back to yourself in a way that feels good.

THE EXPERIENCE

We will begin slowly, arriving through guided somatic practices that support connection to breath, sensation and internal rhythm.

Movement will be invitational and low-demand. You are always welcome to modify, pause, sit or lie down.

From there, you will be held in an immersive sound meditation facilitated by Claire, using Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes and other therapeutic instruments. The vibrations and tones create a supportive environment for rest, release and integration.

We will close with embodied journaling, reflection, herbal tea and gentle community connection.

This afternoon is especially supportive if you are:

  • Feeling stretched or depleted

  • Longing for deeper reconnection with your body

  • Wanting space to soften and receive

  • Navigating transition or change

  • Simply in need of quiet restoration
