Restore & Reset: Winter Sanctuary

Wednesday 16 December 2026
7-9pm

Braydon Chapel, near Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire

An intimate fireside gathering of movement, music, rest and connection…

As the winter evenings draw in, you're invited to step away from the demands of everyday life and into the warmth of the beautiful tin tabernacle in Braydon, held by the surrounding trees.

A cosy, intimate evening to gather around the fire, reconnect with yourself and others, and make space for movement, expression, stillness and rest.

Winter Sanctuary is a special festive Restore & Reset gathering, bringing together music, somatic movement, embodied exploration, meditation and deep rest in this beautiful little space.

We'll begin by taking some time to arrive and connect with ourselves, before gradually exploring movement, breath and music. There might be stretching, swaying, shaking, dancing or moments of stillness, with invitations to explore what feels good and supportive for your own body.

As the evening unfolds, we'll slow down into guided meditation and deep rest, before gathering together again by the fire for warm spiced drinks, festive treats and a little time for reflection and connection.

A chance to pause amidst the fullness of December. To feel the warmth of the fire, the music and the company of others. To make room for whatever this season brings, without needing to feel or be any particular way.

A little winter sanctuary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Restore & Reset different?
Restore & Reset has grown from the practices and experiences that have supported me in my own journey through burnout, chronic stress and reconnecting with myself.

I'm not about perfection, following a prescribed routine or getting things 'right'. I'm interested in what happens when we become curious about our bodies, our needs and what genuinely feels supportive for us.

My approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming. There's no choreography to follow, no expectation to move in a particular way, and no need for previous experience. Everything is an invitation, with plenty of choice to explore what works for your body, energy and capacity.

What if I’ve never done anything like this before?
You’re very welcome! Sessions are inclusive and open to everyone and no previous experience is needed.

You don't need to be flexible, know how to meditate or feel comfortable dancing. There's no choreography, no pressure to share, and no expectation to be still, close your eyes or quiet your mind.

You're always welcome to pause, adapt a practice or choose something different. It's about finding what works for you.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, with warm layers and socks for the quieter parts of the evening. You’re welcome to dress to express too, in something that feels good to move in.

What should I bring?
A yoga mat or other exercise mat (I have a couple to borrow if needed)
A cushion or pillow, or two if you prefer (I have plenty you can use too)
A blanket or throw (I have lots to borrow as well)
A bottle of water
Plus a travel mug or cup for herbal tea (I have some cups to borrow if needed)

Accessibility
I want these gatherings to feel as welcoming and accessible as possible. If there's anything I can do to support your comfort, access or participation, please get in touch before booking.

I'll also be happy to share more information about the venue and the space so you can decide whether it will work for you.
